Anxiety
A little anxiety is normal and natural. Anything more than that might be worth talking about.
There are several types of anxiety disorder (higher than normal anxiety), reflecting the fact that anxiety means different things to different people. Some people may be excessively anxious about a specific event, situation or decision; some experience anxiety in social situations (social anxiety); some experience random panic, sometimes with no obvious trigger; and some suffer from general, pervasive anxiety (generalised anxiety). It is very common for people to experience more than one type of anxiety disorder.
3 million people in the UK are diagnosed with an anxiety disorder (that’s more than the entire population of Wales) (www.nopanic.org.uk | www.anxietyuk.org.uk)15% of the population of England experiences an anxiety-related common mental health disorder each year. More than 1 in 10 people are likely to have a ‘disabling anxiety disorder’ at some stage in their life. 40% of disability worldwide is due to depression and anxiety.
Helpful hypnotherapy
I wanted to drop you a note to thank you for helping me this week. I woke the next morning feeling so much lighter. I had joy and playfulness beaming from me... I’m holding on to those symbols from our session. I hope you don’t mind but I’ve recommended you to about 10 friends who I feel may benefit from a session with you... I’m an advocate.

I went to see Steve for my anxiety with meetings, presenting and conference calls. After two sessions I had a completely anxiety-free conference call and am looking forward to my next meeting.

There are several techniques we can use to help address your anxiety. These conditions are so prevalent in society that a large part of our work is directed at addressing these common issues. In a hypnotic state, the conscious and unconscious parts of the mind are more accessible, and more open to influence and change. It is therefore easier to get to the heart of an issue, and easier to process any unresolved issues while in a hypnotic state.
We believe that you carry within you (within your subconscious) all the resources you need to help moderate or manage your anxiety – but you may benefit from some expert assistance to help you get in touch with those inner resources.
