Please note that I am not able or qualified to give you medical advice or a diagnosis. Before using hypnotherapy to help you with any major physical ailment you must have previously seen a GP for diagnosis.
In the era before chemical anaesthesia, surgical operations were often conducted with hypnotherapy being used for pain relief. For example, Dr James Esdaile (1808–1859), a Scottish doctor operating as a surgeon in India, used hypnosis for surgical anaesthesia in 300 major operations, and a thousand minor ones.
In the current era too, several doctors use hypnotic anaesthesia, including Dr Bernie Siegel, Dr Carl Simonton, Dr Ernest Rossi and Dr Bruce Lipton. There are hundreds of videos on YouTube demonstrating hypnotic anaesthesia.
